If I recall correctly, it hadn't even spread to the drug addicts - at least in significant numbers - at that point just yet. VERY few women acquired HIV/AIDS in the disease's very early years. If Eazy had HIV/AIDS for nine years (i.e., since 1984), then he would've likeliest gotten it from gay/bisexual male activities. For awhile, every week 1-5 prominent dudes were dying from AIDS was THAT serious. Folks - ranging from famous actors, singers, to Ronald Reagan politico Roy Cohn - were literally dropped like flies. ![]() Magic Johnson and a few others exempted (and they had early detection), folks just weren't living it up for a decade with HIV/AIDS. Those of us who are old enough to remember the discovery and early phase of this disease's history can recall just how quickly folks were dying - especially when they went undiagnosed and/or untreated. Yes, there is an incubation period, but still. But for nine years? That means Eazy E (who died in 1995) would've had HIV/AIDS since 1984.a mere three years after the disease was first discovered in the U.S. ![]()
